AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Class

  • 4 Week 1-Hour Group Class - $200 Tuition
  • Dogs under 1 year of age
  • No Children Under 12 Years of Age Allowed in Group Classes

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class is an exciting new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class.  You'll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training is a natural lead in to the AKC® Canine Good Citizen® Program.


Basic Obedience

  • 4 Week 1-Hour Group Class - $175 Tuition
  • Corrective Collar, if chosen, is additional
  • Dogs over 6 months of age
  • No Children Under 12 Years of Age Allowed in Group Classes

We introduce an effective communication system and dogs are exposed to basic obedience skills through the use of commands such as LOOK, TOUCH, COME, SIT, DOWN, and STAY. We also introduce the skills requisite for establishing a loose-leash walk.
Off Leash Boot Camp
  • 5 Day Program
  • Pre, or Co-Requisite – Basic Obedience (at a minimum dog should understand Sit, Stay and Come)
  • Dogs Over 8 months Old
  • Includes a Two (2) Hour Private Lesson on Graduation Day
  • Corrective collar & remote controller package is additional.

Acclimation to Pack Socialization, Daycare/Boarding

Introduction to Nosework

  • 4 Week 1-Hour Group Class - $175 Tuition
  • Dogs over 6 months of age
  • No Children Under 12 Years of Age Allowed in Group Classes

Introduction to nosework introduces your dog to different odors and how to pair them with reinforcement. Dogs will begin to learn how to use their nose and begin to establish how to work with you, as well as independently as a team.

Leash Manners
One-Hour Private Lesson
Designed to solve intractable leash pulling and control issues, and to teach caretakers how to gain control of their dog’s walk, this is a private lesson lasting approximately one hour and makes humane use of a corrective collar.
$100 per lesson (prong or dominant dog collar cost is additional).
